The IJGI Travel Award was launched in 2017, and it is presented every year to encourage junior scientists to present their latest research at academic conferences in the field of geographic information, which helps to grow their profile. The application process is open from March to October every year and winners are announced by the end of December. |

- A certificate;
- A voucher to waive the Article Processing Charges (APCs) for one submission in the journal (subject to peer review)—valid for one year.
